Tough or very tough?

Choose between regular Polymer prints or add continuous fibre reinforcement.

Markforged Onyx and Continuous Fibre UK 3D printing service

StrongParts offer a range of polymer prints and prints strengthened with continuous fibres. It's possible to achieve 10x strength when compared to regular 3d FDM printing.

Our consultants will help you work through how to spec your prints and discuss which fibre suits your requirements best. Choose from Carbon Fibre, High Strength High Temperature Fibreglass, Aramid Fibre (Kevlar®) and Fibreglass.

Markforged Materials

Using the polymers below it’s possible to create really strong, durable parts. For users wishing to go that step further it’s also possible to run continuous fibre through your print too. This can achieve 10x strength for those special applications.

3D printed part made with Onyx from Markforged

Onyx

This nylon based material has been blended with carbon fibre to create a really strong ‘super polymer’.

3D printed part made with Onyx ESD from Markforged

Onyx ESD

Specially designed electrical applications. Uses include PCB housings and soldering jigs to ‘dissipate’ static.

3D printed part made with Onyx FR from Markforged

Onyx FR

Onyx derivative specifically designed with flame retardant properties to UL94 V-0.

3D printed part made with Onyx FRA from Markforged

Onyx FR-A

An Aerospace grade Onyx derivative designed to meet FST requirements for aircraft interiors.

3D printed part made with Nylon White from Markforged

Nylon White

Nylon White is a technical thermoplastic that is stronger, stiffer, and more reliable.

3D printed part made with Nylon White Food Safe from Markforged

Nylon FS

Nylon White FS is an unfilled, non-abrasive nylon that is certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard 51, Food Equipment Materials and is compliant with FDA CFR Title 21.

3D printed part made with Smooth TPU from Markforged

Smooth TPU

Smooth TPU 95A is a rubber-like material that when used with Markforged composite printers offers product developers and manufacturers the ability to create flexible, impact-absorbent parts on demand.

3D printed part made with Precise PLA from Markforged

Precise PLA

Precise PLA is an economical prototyping plastic, available in 8 colours, designed for reliable and accurate printing.

3D printed part made with Ultem™ 9085 from Markforged

3D printed part made with Vega™ from Markforged

VEGA

Vega is based on PEKK, an aerospace-proven material that offers excellent strength and rigidity.

For people needing really strong parts

Markforged Continuous Fibres

Markforged Carbon Fibre

Carbon Fibre

The strongest of all the continuous fibres and also available in FR (flame retardant) and HT-A (for Vega™ and ULTEM™ 9085 reinforcement).

Markforged HSHT

HSHT

High Strength High Temperature is a thermally resistant Continuous Fibre for strong parts in high-temperature environments.

Markforged Aramid Fibre

Aramid Fibre (Kevlar®)

Aramid Fibre is a Kevlar® based, specialized continuous fibre known for its energy absorption, extreme toughness and impact-resistant.

Markforged Fibreglass

Fibreglass

Fiberglass is capable of yielding parts 10x stronger than ABS when laid into Onyx, providing a more affordable alternative to Carbon Fibre.
